Message From Jeanette I have just returned from a week in Dallas viewing the new Juliana summer collection. What beautiful clothes! We will be showing the summer collection from April 20th through April 28th. For this show, Claudia Cruz will be working with me. Claudia owns Da Vinci Shoes. She and her father (from Columbia) make handmade shoes. She has just made a pair of short boots for me, and currently, she is making a pair of tall boots for me and a pair of shoes for my husband. A Normally, you would not tip the owner, but when they are also the stylist, it is customary to tip them.

Test Your Etiquette Awareness
Answers To The Last Week's Question: Almost everyone displays nonverbal clues when lying. Select the ones you think indicate that a person might be lying.
These messages are important. When one party suspects that the other is lying or concealing information, it brings open communication to a halt. Question For The Month True or False? You're working over the weekend on a project that is due next week, and you need some information from a colleague in order to finish it. In this circumstance, it would be fine to call him at home.

Your Computer Image
Do you update your virus protection program on a regular basis? For those of you who are whizzes at the computer, this may be a ridiculous question - however, for us struggling computer users, this is a real concern. This is from one who just lost her entire data base from a virus! PLEASE check out your virus protection program to be sure you are well projected should the worst happen. And don't forget to back up your data. As I was writing this newsletter, I stopped to check my emails, and I received an article that is on this very subject.
